The EDI message definitions and code lists for motor and household insurance are published in the Polaris Online Database (POD), which also includes the industry standard code lists for both personal and commercial lines. *The Personal Lines Standards do not support quotation requests because the UK market personal lines quotation capabilities lies with software system providers. The information passed by brokers to insurers is therefore restricted to details of a risk that has been placed with a given insurer.
