ISO 27001 Accredited
Polaris received the ISO 27001 accreditation for information security management in March 2019.
We achieved this accreditation through BM Trada, who are accredited auditors of the ISO Standards. The in-depth assessment which looked at people, processes and IT systems included an on premise assessment and reviews of policies and procedures and risk processes.
Through this accreditation Polaris has been recognised as a company that keeps information assets secure, has effective measures in place and a systematic approach to managing information and services.
We have joined the Managing General Agents Association as a supplier member. The MGAA is a non-profit organisation who represent MGAs throughout the UK to help support and shape the future of delegated underwriting.
Being a member we aim to engage and partner with MGAs to provide them with the tools and solutions they need to support their digital trading strategy. Our products provide MGAs with the ability to build their insurance product lines, access a pool of brokers and ensure their lines are built in alignment with systems used across the industry through our Standards.
